First try with MEM on students

Tried the Meaningful engagement Matrix (MEM), translated in swedish, on my younger students. The result was, let me say, very interesting. They filled in the matrix after an art lesson, just because I needed to try it out and see the students reactions. Is this something I can use again but when working with Jam2Jam?

Well, not with this version of my swedish MEM. It was way too hard for the kids to see the system of filling in the matrix.

A new version must be made and that´s why I don´t publish it today. It will have to wait!

MEM - work

Seems like stuff is happening with and around Jam2Jam. Last week I was interviewed for Pro audio magazine, commenting on our work here in Sweden, so for me it´s just a small part of the article, but still great fun!

Right now I´m working on translating the Meaningful engagement matrix (MEM) into swedish for my secondary school students so they can use it to reflect on classes they attend. I´m not sure if I shall translate it directly or if I should make it more understandable for kids their age.

I met up with Eva Saether last week and we were discussing this and more or less decided to translate it directly to find out if it make sense for secondary school kids, but reading it again, I get a bit uncertain.
